Driven is a powerful, high energy eight piece band, featuring a dynamic lead vocalist and powerful horn section. The members are seasoned pros, having performed in and around the Cleveland music scene for over twenty years each.
Lead vocals are handled by Maria Braccia, who dazzles the audience with her stage presence as much as he vocal prowess. The horn line featuring trumpeter Joe Zerucha, Jim Srnick on tenor and alto sax, Dave Davies on baritone and alto sax provides power and flash. All three contribute vocals, hand percussion. Jim uses a MIDI horn controller to further color the soundscape. Lead guitarist Ken Walrath shares lead vocal duties, and anchors the harmonies. The keyboards are the domain of Pete Algotson, who handles sampling and programming. Driven is anchored by the solid rhythm of drummer Frank Cinkole and bassist Jonathan Salerno, who contributes lead and backing vocals. Driven’s attitude is “Get the party started!”, and their repertoire is right in line. The band’s strength is its ability to play to any audience with an emphasis on moving the dance floor. All styles are covered, from Classic Rock to Modern Rock, R&B and Motown, Disco favorites to current dance hits.
